'Icy Wings'
Icy wings was painted as a demonstration for my video. The scene depicts a British Airways 747-236 being de-iced prior to flight. Because the fluid that is used is hot, the steam and vapour is seen rising above the right wing obscuring the tail and rear part of the fuselage. It is painted on Dayler Rowney 300gsm rough paper, using Windsor & Newton artists quality paints. The painting, framed with oak and a double champagne mount, measures 55cm x 45cm.
